RA (Reverse Arch) Castings are featured on all Manitou forks with castings because they provide the greatest amount of torsional stiffness possible for a given weight. Patented Reverse Arch technology allows us to increase arch wrap mass in key areas and also allows for an arch that is shorter and stiffer than traditional designs. Each new casting has an optimized arch size, cross section and shape for maximum stiffness and dramatically improved steering accuracy.
Semi-Bath Lubrication and Evil Genius Seals dramatically increase our forks’ durability and service life. This system decreases friction by retaining lubricants inside the fork and lubricating from the inside. High quality Evil Genius seals were developed in conjunction with a prominent motorcycle suspension seal company.
