Way back in 1997 we redefined what a long travel single crown fork was supposed to be and we called it the Z.1 Bomber. The original orange Z.1 Bomber became one of the most influential products of its time and it continues to live on in the skin of the 55 series. Fast forwarding in time, the 2011 55 series still holds the legendary values we instilled in the first Z.1 with open bath buttery smooth performance, titanium main and negative coil springs, all NEW low pressure air system, speed sensitive compression valves, all NEW bushing design, 1.5 inch tapered steer tube, 20mm Quick Release axle and brought together in a seriously lightweight 160mm package.
